Our installation process

When you opt for our Migration Offer, we’ll start the process off at first contact – when you fill out our form below.

1. Pre-install call – Our pre-install call consists of discussing your business needs and identifying your next steps. A key component will be deciding whether we’ll be able to use a product export to migrate your existing data to your new Goodtill by SumUp POS and where manual entry may be required. This will give us a better idea of the installation period you’d be looking at.

2. Product export – We’ll ask you to fill out a detailed product information sheet usually in a CSV format which our team will use to manually enter the information into your new POS. This can be a lengthy process, particularly if you have a large range of products and variances to take account of.

3. A group training session – Here, we’ll go through the many capabilities and features of our POS solution and any add-ons you’ve opted to buy. From our introductory starter bundle equipped with reporting and stock management capabilities to the extra modules you may have opted for such as our loyalty module, advanced promotions, mobile ordering and more.

4. Follow-up call – Once the migration is complete, we’ll book another call with you to discuss the transfer with a dedicated engineer and ensure everything is set up correctly and you’re ready to go live and take your first order via your upgraded system.
